To whom and when do I file a report?

Time frame for filing a mandatory report to law enforcement and CPS

Verbal mandatory reports are filed immediately with:

• Law enforcement (911)
• Child Protective Services (1-888-767-2445)

Verbal reports are followed by written mandatory reports that must be submitted to the appropriate agency within 72 hours.
